Navigating the twists and turns of a cancer journey can feel daunting for both the person facing the disease and the ones walking beside them.
After the initial shock of the diagnosis has worn off, it’s natural to feel overwhelmed and wrestling with a lot of questions. Finding out a friend or loved one has cancer can be distressing, sad, and even devastating.
Suddenly, you’re all being thrust into new roles of patient, caregiver, and supporter. These are roles no one is usually ready for.
However, there is a way to move forward. The burden can be lightened and shared. The key for Christians is to focus on their faith. Our faith plays an integral role in our response to cancer and the outcome of our cancer journeys.

As a Christian cancer survivor, I’ve walked a journey that few can fully comprehend unless they’ve personally experienced it.
I was once where you are now—preparing for, or in the midst of, a battle that I didn’t choose, but was called to fight nonetheless.
And I can tell you with the utmost confidence that it was God’s faithfulness and the support of committed friends and loved ones that carried me through the darkest times.
It’s with this understanding that I founded Our Journeys of Faith Christian Cancer Coaching. I help to equip Christian cancer patients and others impacted by their diagnosis with the understanding and tools to effectively support spiritual transformation while bravely navigating their cancer journeys.
